This map shows in blue all states or independent (i.e. not part of a state) district won by Democrats in all three of the 2016, 2020, and 2024 Presidential Elections. Red color signifies Republican wins for those states in each of those years.
Clicking an item on a map shows its number of electoral votes and the Republican or Democrat winning percentage margin over the other in 2024.
Changing the value in the form below changes the Republican margin and thus can change the state from Democrat (blue) to Republican (red) and vice versa.
The bar chart below shows the shift in electoral votes for each party in response to the changing of the margins. No colors will change for swing states which are shown in yellow and the electoral votes for these states will be shown as undecided in the barchart below, as will be the five electoral votes from Maine and Nebraska which are allocated based on vote tallies in specific districts.
